This is CALICO. My daughter gave her to me in the spring of 1996,so for 14 years she has been my baby.
I always said I wanted a Calico cat.One day while she was at work she heard about someone giving away some kittens and they had a Calico.She went straight there and got her for me.
The next thing I know my door bell rang. I opened the door to find a box,when the box started meowing I about screamed, my daughter was hiding behind the house,she came out with the biggest grin on her face. In the box was this beautiful baby calico,like I said before she has been my baby for 14 years.
Until today ! CANCER WON THE BATTLE TODAY. It was a heart breaking decision to make,but she was starting to have trouble breathing and didn't really want to eat.I let her go before it became more of a struggle for her and before she was afraid of what was happening to her.

So sorry for your loss!! I have 2 cats and I know it will be hard for me if/when I lose them! Bless you for giving her 14 wonderful years and bless her for giving YOU 14 wonderful years!!

Oh Ginger...I'm so sorry. I know that doing the best & kindest thing for your baby was probably also the hardest thing to do.
